If you need something bigger, you were talking about stretching a pickup longer - why not stretch it width-ways too...   Smiley

I'm still toying with the idea...
Pick up / Trailer / spare Cab / all running gear... absolutely everything... so it's two pick ups really, but one, in bits!

If it isn't a hot day, Sooty could tow the trailer with all the bits in it!!, but it'd get mighty hot!!

Oh AND, completely overhauled, pressure tested, reseated valves, skimmed cylinder head at a cost of £120.00 SUPER!!!

What's it all worth together chaps???

Right offer and it goes I'm afraid, but it'll be all, or nowt!

Oh, 4 Alloys 14", 4 Alloys 13" and two sets of standard wheels, one with excellent Van commercial tyres with less than 1000 miles off 'em

Dont do it titch......sell the bike..sell the landy..sell the lawnmower..sell the turf from your lawn..sell the bed or the carpets ...rent a shed out ..dont sell the pick up...or the trailer ...you made it to attract attention to your business and nothing is going to do that better than what you have ...when i go to work the carpark is full of different cars and vans ..they are just cars and vans ...the most liked and talked about ...and people stopping to look and point is the little pick up truck...people actually stop and let me out at junctions just to have a smile and a giggle ....you know its true ...so does everybody who owns one they see people looking and smiling all the time ,,,and with the matching trailer it will catch even more eyes.....its awsome ....you have all the parts you will ever need and you know it inside out every nut and bolt ....how could you even think of getting rid....every now and then it crosses my mind but when i think what else is going to give me the same buzz......nothing as funky as groovy as robust and cute and lovable .....dont do it...you will never ever get what its worth to you....

It's just a thought so far Jen,
I'm after kitting out a van for the Agricultural shows Chop, self contained Exhibition unit sort of thing...to save pulling the trailer I have, that'll go up for sale when a van is done...
It's just that Sooty will be a bit surplus then, BUT,.... it's cheap to insure, owes me very little etc etc, usefull & all that, but potentially, as a job lot, I see it as a few quids.
I want to keep it, and most likely will, just trying to rasi some pennies for a van, but I'm working on it.

I would like to take Sooty on a dolly to the shows, you don't need to tell me how much attention it receives,
I mean,    PURPLE???

No plans really, it was a pick up for the donor, therefore still have exact same rear chassis etc. Gas axe was the answer to separate cab from chassis.
There is a Rascal trailer, twin axle , on E bay at the moment, but I can take pictures of mine if it helps.

Keeping Sooty, definately keeping it!!!!!

Next year, when I get my tractor/mowers and AMBULANCE finished,  .....I want a scrap pick up, going to extend the chassis, twin axle, DIESEL automatic...that's the plan!!!

Ambulance/Exhibition vehicle pictures coming very soon, you'll need shades on!

Glad your keeping it and the idea of a Rascal 6 wheeler sounds really good  Smiley

As your gonna have all the bits what about a Rascal 8 wheeler,  the front steering geometry would take a bit a figuring out along with driving both rear axles but what a show stopper it would be  Grin

I saw the rascal trailer as well.  If it had been mounted on the original rascal wheels etc may well have bought it as well.

Hi Claire, yes, twin steering axles would be a bit too much, I'd have to extend the cab as well.
One driving rear axle, one with diff etc removed I think..........It's a way off in the future yet,..but the idea WON'T go away!!
