Different van, same problem?

Anyone know of a source for a 96 Supercarry brake calipers (different from Rascal although I presume Rascal ones will fit?) ?

Or how to overhaul them - pistons seem to move okay but slides look seized - can't get new pads in?

Local motorfactor quoted around £100 each for overhaul - that plus new discs, front hoses totals at about what the van is worth!

Seal kit wouldn't really help. Pistons were fine - it was the sliding pins that were seized and looked badly corroded and pitted.

But Tim Rascal.com saved the day with a good used pair - oredered yesterday, arrived this morning!! What stars him and his missus are!

Course I could have got new - Suzuki managed to find one in the UK and another in Germany - £160 plus VAT each. Hmmmm....

Second van we've had with this problem so look after your calipers people - future supply of these parts will be a problem!!

Late Suzuki calipers are a different design. Brake pads for them are three times the price of earlier type ones.
