Greetings from Bath One & All.

Help!, I need some advice please as I’m replacing the front wheel arches. Firstly, I’m not sure what needs to be done at the front ‘A’ pillar i.e., what needs to be removed & secondly, is it ok to use spot welds or should I seam weld?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Buy the arches & line them up over the old ones to see what needs cutting out before doing any cutting. Derek.

Just about to do the same on mine over the next few days. place in Chippenham is selling arch panels cheaper than £72.

I tend to spot weld where it was orginaly spot welded and seamed where you have cut to put panel in.

Sunny and far too hot for grinding and welding in Bristol....

hi, yep here you go.

http://www.bedfordrascal.com/index.html

Arches I brought today were about £40 each +VAT, so not overly cheap.

so if the £72 quoted above was for a pair then sounds cheaper direct, but not tried....

Cheers
