Hi all,

Just joined and thought Id say hi! My boyfriend and I own a 1987 White Bedford Romahome, which we brought March 2009! We enjoyed lots of travelling and festivals in it last year and we love it to bits. It is now due for MOT so we are getting it sorted for that, and i am currently updating the interior. We are hoping to get it resprayed for the summer in blue.
Im also looking to put alloys on it, but not sure what would fit??? Ive had a look at a previous post about alloys but still confused?
Would also would like to get the spare wheel mounted on the front, do I need to track down a bull bar or is there a mounting bracket I can use???
We live near walsall and my dad specialises in powdercoating/wet coating if anyone needs any bits doing! SpeedWay Paint Finishing, Wolverhampton.
We are looking forward to getting our romahome ready for the summer and will post some pics soon!

Welcome to the site. The usual way to mount the spare on the front is to weld a flat plate with two long  bolts to carry the spare wheel to a bull bar. Alternatively you could fabricate a mounting bracket & bolt that to the front panel. As far as I am aware no one has purpose made a mounting bracket. Derek.

ha ha chop...they are all fine thanks..... Grin

thanks derek, didnt know whether i needed to mount it on a bull bar. But will probably just mount it to the front panel now instead.........as finding a bull bar is becoming difficult. thanks

Mike...if all is well with zippy and passes mot with no major probs then cant see why we wont pop down and say hi!
