Help me fix my dishwasher please???

OK, I know what the problem is, I opened the door and the rope hinge has snapped. I cannot cope with the expence of buying a new one. So, I have found somewhere that sells the parts I need.... but have no clue how to get to the bloody thing to fix it.
I think I should be able to pull off or unscrew the lower panel to get to the gubbins, but I cannot see how to do this.
It's a Beko DE2431FW if anyone knows of any diagrams online where I can get a peek at what to do... I would be one happy girl.

OK, The first pic is of the two loose bits that came off in my hand from under the door hinge, the second is the broken string that is now hanging out of door.
Now I think I can replace the string and put the other bits back, but I would need to take off a panel to get to it and I cannot see how to get that off... there are no screws or anything.

Never mind Chop... I have just tried to order the spare part on about twelve different websites and they are all out of stock... so it looks like I will have a couple of weeks to figure it out.

On the back Jen, I bet the 'lid' or top has two screws that undo on either side, undo them, lift the back up slightly and push, or bash, it forwards, the whole top!
Most washing machines are like this and then you can see the inside from the top.
My guess is, unfortunately, that it will be some plastic bit that has given way... i.e. snapped off.
Contents insurance?? Or traditional washing up bowl??
I'll ask a mate anyway, that's his thing, but I'm sure that the spring has broken some plastic bit!

Thanks Titch, the manual that you are on about is the "Users" manual... tells you where to put the salt, soap etc and what setting to put it on, how to load etc... doesn't tell you how to take the thing apart.
It hasn't broken anything plastic, the string that runs round the pully, that offsets the balance of the door has snapped. These strings or "rope hinges" can be bought on line for £3.49... so I know that somehow they can be replaced... but I will be buggered if I am going to pay someone £60 to wrap a bit of string round my pully!
At the base of the door, there is a removable kick plate... I use the term "removable" lightly, as I cannot get to grips with it and feel like I am going to snap something if I force it.
If your mate can tell me how to get to the pully and replace the spring, that would be a start.
Thanks for asking him Titch.

I'll make the call later on today, although he was on domestic appliances for 20 years and still has his list of customers, he now works nights...I'll let you know when I get hold of him.
